Day of Coordinator Package Give-Away

It's almost here--wedding season!

We here at LetAlicia cannot wait for the special season that is filled with beautiful brides, handsome grooms, stunning color palates and festive celebrations to arrive!

And to express our excitement, we are giving away a free Day of Coordinator package to one lucky couple!

LetAlicia's Day of Coordinator package is created in an effort to take away all of the stress couples face on the day of their weddings. Your wedding day is a special moment that should be free from any concern over whether your vendors have been paid, if the DJ knows what song to play for your first dance and if your photographer is actually shooting the shots you asked her to.

Brides and grooms alike constantly rave that some of the best money spent in their wedding budget was on a Day of Coordinator. This is because it is the Day of Coordinator's job to deal with any issues that arise on your big day--whether they are foreseeable or unforeseen.

Currently, LetAlicia is offering its Day of Coordinator services to Southern California and Colorado couples.

Day of Coordinator packages from LetAlicia feature the following:
-A free initial consultation
-Presence of a LetAlicia staff member for the entirety of your wedding--from the time the wedding party is getting ready until the time the bride and groom leave the celebration
-Creation of a detailed, minute-by-minute schedule of events for the wedding day
-Communication with all vendors on the day of the wedding. This entails making sure all vendors are paid and are performing their tasks as specified by the Bride and Groom
-Ensuring that the ceremony location and reception location are properly set up for the wedding
-Overseeing easily forgettable details, such as whether there are pens for the guest book and if candles on tables have been lit.
-A positive, happy spirit and an individual who has planned and overseen many events

For an additional price, LetAlicia would be happy to coordinate your rehearsal dinner, bridal showers, or any other pre-wedding event.

So, if you are in Southern California and you'd like LetAlicia to help coordinate your big day, please post a comment in the comments section with your name and email address, wedding location and date, and stating why you are in need of a Day of Coordinator and how the assistance of a Day of Coordinator can truly make your big day the best day of your life!

A winner will be selected at random on Wednesday, April 21 and will be notified by the email address they provide in their comment post.

If you are not selected--do not fret! LetAlicia would still like to help you make your big day your happiest yet and save you from any unnecessary stress! LetAlicia will provide all couples who book a Day of Coordinator package before May 1, 2010 with a 15% discount on Day of Coordination services! These are prices that any budget can afford, and that any couple who truly wants to enjoy their wedding must spend!

Colorado Chuckwagon Cookout

LetAlicia was recently hired to plan and organize a private Colorado Chuckwagon Cookout! The event will be hosted by an attendee of the Association for Education in Journalism & Mass Communication convention, which will be held in Denver, Colorado August 4-7, 2010.

Our client wanted to welcome guests of the convention by showcasing her native state's fun attributes. Thus, we decided on a chuckwagon cookout, featuring grilled steaks, chicken, buffalo and of course, a chuckwagon!

The client is also concerned with the presentation of the event--she doesn't want this event to just be your ordinary, run-of-the-mill barbecue. Thus, we will be incorporating a pleasant, summery theme featuring two flowers close to Coloradoan's hearts--sunflowers and columbines!

Planning of the event is in the early stages, but it provides me with a great opportunity to share with you the services that LetAlicia can provide you with for your events!

To serve this particular client's needs, for this event I will:

1. Secure a caterer and maintain all necessary contact with the caterer from now until the conclusion of the event.

2. Create a unique beverage station, featuring Colorado brewed beers and kid-friendly beverages.

3. Secure all necessary supplies, including: tables, linens, and serving utensils.

4. Oversee the guest list to keep track of RSVPs and the total number of guests attending, so that the client and all vendors know how many guests to expect.

5. Design a pleasant event environment by instituting design features, such as table settings and lighting to make sure that the aesthetics of the event are pleasing to all.

LetAlicia was able to provide our client with all of these services for a price within her budget.

Please contact LetAlicia today to begin the conversation of how LetAlicia can help you orchestrate your next event for a price within your budget!

Pink and Black

In August, 2008, Let Alicia hosted a bridal shower for the beautiful bride, Chelsea.

(Chelsea and shower guest, Jenny, enjoying the pink and black themed afternoon!)

Chelsea, not one for cliche bridal showers, opted for a fun girl's afternoon.

Read: There was no tea. There were martinis.

Let Alicia sought to create a fun, young setting that stood in stark contrast to the traditional, pastel bridal shower.

Incorporating pinks and blacks, at the end of the event, each guest received a hand-made favor box which held several dainty chocolates wrapped in bright pink foil.

Guests enjoyed the personal touch, and Let Alicia was happy to help Chelsea with her special day!

Welcome!
